Virtus Pro, Natus Vincere, Team Spirit, and Live To Win were invited to the first division of the Dota Pro Circuit: CIS League
Tournament operator ESL revealed the list of participants, as well as the format of the first season of Dota Pro Circuit: CIS. The main stage games will run from January 18 to February 28. The total prize pool for both divisions will be $280,000. Also, there will be drawn 1150 DPC points.
Teams invited to the first division:
Another four tickets to the first division will be played in the Decider Tournament, which will take place from January 7 to 10. At the tournament, eight invited teams will face each other in a Double-Elimination bracket. At the publishing time, the organizer didn't announce the list of teams invited to the Decider Tournament.
In the second division of the Dota Pro Circuit: CIS League, there will be four worst teams from the Decider Tournament and four teams from the open qualifiers, which will be hosted from January 5 to 10.
In addition to the cash prize, the three best teams from the first division will earn tickets to the first Major of this year, which will take place at the end of March. However, it is not so simple. Different places have different values:
- 1st place — a ticket to the playoffs of the Major
- 2nd place — a ticket to the group stage of the Major
- 3rd place — a ticket to the Wild Card stage
