The International 11 features fewer EEU and SEA teams than from other regions

Esports analyst Ben "Noxville" Steenhuisen has updated the table of contenders for direct invitations to The International 11. The 12 slots are currently distributed as follows:
- Europe — 3.4;
- China — 2.5;
- South America — 2;
- North America — 1.6;
- Southeast Asia — 1.5;
- Eastern Europe — 1.1.
After the EEU update, the region lost several points. All because BetBoom lost to Outsiders. The chances that BetBoom will receive a direct invitation decreased by 31% and now is only 14%.
We want to remind you that in addition to the direct invitations based on DPC points, another slot at The International 11 for each region will be awarded through qualifiers. Also, 2 teams from a region will go to the Wildcard stage, where they will compete for 2 more slots.
