DPC 2021 Season begins January 18
On November 25, Valve announced the date of the Dota Pro Circuit 2021 start. The season will begin on January 18.
According to Valve's announcement, there will be six regional leagues in total in DPC 2021, each of which will have 16 teams split into two divisions. The best from each region will also qualify for the first Major of the season. The exact information and schedule will be announced later.
In the announcement, Valve also said that the new patch and the promised hero won't be released on November 30 and will be delayed until mid-December. On December 1, a new season of Dota Plus will begin, with the start of which there will feature seasonal quests reset, a new seasonal treasure, and other additional content. Valve also said that it is rolling in backend changes to gather data for the upcoming Overwatch features.
