Avengerls received a lifetime ban from Valve and Perfect World
The Avengerls organization and four of its players, who participated in the fake match with Newbee, received a lifetime ban from Valve and Perfect World. This information was posted on the official Perfect World Weibo page.

Avengerls is a Chinese team of high MMR players. In February 2020, they, along with Newbee, were suspected of participating in a fake match in the qualifiers for StarLadder ImbaTV Minor Season 3. That match ended with Newbee winning 2:1.
The second and third maps of that confrontation caused suspicion. Each of them began with an Avengerls advantage, which was coming to naught and led to further loss. The actions of the Avengerls players on both maps defied explanation.
It is known that evidence of the team's participation in fake matches was collected in May and handed over to Valve for investigation. And only now they decided to ban players and the entire organization for life. All those four banned Avengerls players managed to create a new team called Rebirth and compete in two seasons of the Perfect World Dota2 League.
